The team of NorthIndiaDaily conducted a survey about the top fitness bands that are popular in India. The survey revealed 10 popular bands that are making a space in people’s hearts and motivating them to start taking care of their health. Here are those 10 bands which have become popular among the Indians.
1.) Garmin Vivofit 3:
With water resistant technology and a battery that can last an entire year, this fitness band is perfect for the active wearer needing to escape civilization. There’s no cell phone connectivity, but the band more than makes up for this absence by keeping track of your sleep, steps, calories consumed, distance ran, and training minutes.
For bluetooth options like the Tactical Watches have, a fitness band might not be the best first option. Try a T1 Tact Smartwatch (see here) for that option.
2.) Moov Now:
This fitness band comes equipped with data transmission capabilities and six months of battery life. Using 3D tracking, the Moov Now maps your body movement and can send the information directly to your smartphone. The band also comes with rep training, along with boxing and swimming features.
3.) Misfit Flash
This gadget contains tracking abilities and records distance, sleep quality, caloric intake, and steps. It is button-controlled, with no display. Its battery is unfortunately non-rechargeable, and only lasts six months.
4.) Mevofit Drive – Fitness Band and Activity Tracker
With an attractive price and numerous features, the Mevofit Drive features a sleep tracker, notification system, display screen, water resistance, and a pedometer. Not to mention gesture control, meaning you can control this device with a wave of your hand.
5.) Huawei ERS-B19 Band 2 Classic Activity Tracker
The ERS-B19 Band 2 is fairly limited in its capabilities, boasting a heart and sleep monitor. Besides being waterproof, this fitness band offers little else to the active consumer.
6.) Fastrack Reflex Band
Coming with a cheap price, a one year warranty, and a decent range of abilities, the Fastrack is a good mid-range fitness band. It features a calorie tracker, distance tracker, sleep monitor, and a notification system for when you forget one of the features.
7.) Mi Band – HRX Edition:
Featuring Bluetooth connectivity and a touch display, the Mi Band is a frontrunner for Indian fitness bands, offering step tracking, distance measurement, and sleep monitoring. Its affordable price combined with an attractive exterior make it a tempting option. It’s one drawback, however, is a short battery life of a little over three weeks.
8.) GOQii Vital:
With the shortest battery life on the list at only one week, the Vital meets all other standard criteria for what the public has come to expect in fitness bands. These are the classic heart rate monitor, color display, step tracker, blood pressure monitor, and notification system.
However the Vital goes above and beyond by incorporating the GOQii ecosystem, which means unlimited cloud storage for medical tests, a collection of nutrition experts and physical therapists, and a health store.
9.) JSB Cardio Max HF120 HR Fitness Band
Besides boasting the biggest mouthful of a name of the list, the JSB also boasts a reasonable price tag. With the money you spend on this skinny band, you’ll be receiving a heart rate monitor, sleep monitor, and activity tracker. With resistance to moisture, it’s an alright choice for beginners in fitness.
10.) Fitbit Flex 2 Wireless Activity Tracker
Last on the list is perhaps the most well-recognized fitness band. The Fitbit tracks your caloric intake, distance covered, and steps taken. It is illuminated with and LED display, the light of which shows your progress. It selects your favorite workouts for you and is completely waterproof. If you can afford it, it might be worth it.
