TOMS RIVER – Toms River Police authorities have arrested a man, named Garret Latorre, on the charges of stabbing someone in a K-Mart parking lot over a dispute related to vape pen cartridges. The incident took place on April 6 in the K-Mart parking lot which is located on the route number 37 in Toms River town of New Jersey. While the investigation in the stabbing case is still going on, police have framed the 18-year-old Garret Latorre in cases of attempted murder and unlawfully possessing weapons. Also, there are other offenses related to misbehaving during the investigation process under which he has been found guilty.
According to the reports of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, the victim was allegedly stabbed by Latorre in the leg, chest and stomach areas after a heated argument over THC vaping cartridges. The victim was bleeding heavily when some passing people noticed his poor condition and took him to the nearest hospital where he was treated urgently and is now in a stable condition. The police after carrying out some brief investigation have found that Latorre was addicted to smoking CBD and used to inhale it through a disposable CBD pen. On that particular day, he didn’t have one and so he asked for vape pen cartridges to another person. After his request was denied by the person standing in the parking lot, he started quarreling with him and stabbed him badly.
