Senator Lindsey Graham has defended his advice earlier this week to Sean Trump after criticisms. According to him, he feels reluctant to let Donald Trump Jr. appear in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee after the panel addressed a subpoena to him. Senator Lindsey believes the current occurrences are evidence of congressmen usurping the duties of prosecutors which will be dangerous for everyone.
In his statement earlier this week which he was criticized for, he opined he would advise Donald Trump Jr. if he were his official lawyer not to appear before the panel as doing so will not have any effect on change in the outcome of the Robert Mueller investigation.
While talking to a Fox News reporter on Wednesday, he revealed it is not a pleasant experience to be drilled by a total of 535 special counsels made up of 100 senators and 435 members of the House.
He noted that the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Richard Burr, who issued the subpoena and was backlashed even among his party ranks, is an accomplished head of the panel who he is certain will issue a good report of the investigation into the Trump campaign and Russian officials.
Graham pointed pout his legal advice to Trump Jr. was based on the fact that two members of the intel committee who he has been asked to stand before are running for the presidency and might not be a fair interview.
In his final statement, he revealed several Democrats intend for him and Barr to resign. He also claimed the Supreme Court Justice regards Brett Kavanaugh as Bill Cosby in high school.
