Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing hosted a series of strategic meetings with tourism and media companies across GCC in order to highlight the excellent performance of emirate’s tourism industry over the first eight months of 2019. Dubai tourism CEO, Issam Kazim, chaired the meetings to enhance collaboration with partners in traditional strongholds to discuss Dubai’s tourism vision for 2022-25.
In the series of meetings, Dubai’s strongest volume generator ability in the first eight months of the year was discussed. The delegation and the senior representatives from Expo 2020 toured Kuwait, Riyadh, and Jeddah, in order to update on major developments of the highly anticipated event for the emirate. The motive of these partnerships is to drive stronger destination appeal for target audiences across the GCC region.
